Shaun Potgieter known as ”God’s Warrior” is a prominent South African boxer known for his achievements in the heavyweight division. He made his professional debut on October 30, 2016, and has since established himself as a significant contender in South African boxing.
In April 2024, Potgieter achieved a notable milestone by winning the South African Heavyweight Title.

Bonita Van Jaarsveldt is South Africa’s reigning Lightweight Champion and a proud ambassador of Damascus Sport. Known for her relentless work ethic, precision, and heart, Bonita represents the new era of women’s boxing — powerful, passionate, and unapologetically bold.
From local roots at Eastside Boxing and Godfather MMA to international bouts like her recent WIBA title fight in Germany, Bonita continues to rise. She trains exclusively in Damascus Sport’s genuine leather vintage gear, proudly showcasing handcrafted South African excellence in every fight.
NOSIACWASE SYLVIA DUBE
Nosiacwase “Golden Girl” Dube Mutavhatsindi, the current South African Junior Bantamweight Champion and a registered athlete with Boxing South Africa, is the founder and CEO of Elimthende Boxing Development Academy in Bethlehem, Free State. Her academy supports over 20 young boxers aged 7 to 35, providing a safe and empowering space for growth. Nosiacwase’s journey stands as an inspiration in South Africa — proving that with determination and support, no dream is out of reach. She believes her talent is a gift meant to uplift and inspire the next generation of young athletes.

Since stepping into the ring in 2023, she’s built an impressive record of 8 wins and 2 losses across 10 fights. Her sharp precision and relentless drive have earned her a gold medal in 2024 and a silver medal in 2025, marking her as one of the sport’s most promising young talents.

At just 16 years old, Cassidy Marlick is already a standout talent in South African amateur boxing. A Gold Graded Fighter, Cassidy began his boxing journey at the age of seven and has grown into one of Gauteng’s most promising young athletes.
His achievements speak for themselves. four-time Johannesburg and Gauteng Champion, National Gold Medallist, two-time Silver Medallist, and Bronze Medallist at national level.
Cassidy’s commitment, discipline, and passion for the sport reflect the true essence of Damascus Sport. strength through perseverance and excellence through hard work.
